With the recent news that AT&T may have backed out of a potential naming rights deal for the new Cowboys stadium, I decided to do some poking around at some companies that might be interested in striking a deal with Jerry. Here are a few that could work:
AllState – Their slogan is rather appropriate now that Terrell Owens is gone. Then again, the Cowboys aren’t really in good hands with GM Jerry.
Capital One – Could you imagine the huge signs that read “Capital One: What’s in your wallet?” as you’re waiting in line to buy a $10 beer?
GEICO – 15 minutes of Cowboys football could ruin your Sunday afternoon.
General Mills – “The company of champions.” Oops, sorry, Pittsburgh’s stadium already has a name.
Energizer – The playoff drought just keeps going, and going, and going…
Oh, who are we kidding? We all know that it’ll go to the highest bidder. But with today’s economic climate, will Jerry be able to find a deal that would rival the record-breaking deal they had on the table with AT&T? Southwest Airlines, you’re on the clock!
