Hey there's no excuses made for Witten or Romo here. They're big boys, I'll let them defend themselves. They like all the Cowboys still have strides to make. It's just that when the game is on the line, every quarterback goes to the guys he has confidence in. It's an impulse. There were guys that Troy Aikman rarely threw to because he didn't have confidence in them. Romo obviously had confidence in Witten and the stats are on his side. <br>And the TO joke isn't on us. The joke is on Jerry. He's the one who was advised by Big Bill himself not to bring TO to Dallas in the first place. But as we all know (read again the blog above) it's hard on Jerry to admit his mistake much less do something to correct his mistake. In addition, history has proven that what is obvious to everyone else isn't always obvious to Jerry. His desire to be Superman blinds him. And watch your language, this is a Family Website.

Hey Jeff, didn't drop as many but didn't do as much as T.O after the catch either buddy. This negates your rationale.

Oh so Jeff, just trading him like that made all the sense in the world.I don't give a fat rats heiny how many excuses you make for Whitten or #omo they don't hold lukewarm water. Why did Jerry have to get advice from others if it were a no brainer, huh? And regardless of what you say the dude is still getting major paid so looks like the joke is on us!

No Trevor, we're equal opportunity in pointing out cancerous tumors that need to be removed from the Dallas Cowboys. Hence, this website........FireGMJerry! I don't blame Romo for looking for Witten first on that play in Pittsburgh (I assume that's the play you're referring to). Witten catches a higher percentage of passes thrown to him. Romo threw more passes to T.O. this season than anyone else but dropped more than anyone else. Plus Witten was man enough to stand up and say that was his fault on that play. T.O. goes back and stirs up the receiving corps to go cry to the Offensive Coordinator, making up some bularky about a Romo/Witten Conspiracy. He lived up to the reputation he carried with him from Philadelphia and San Francisco. So either Dallas, Philadelphia, and San Francisco have a problem with black men lashing out as you say or T.O. just needs to grow up. I think the latter is true. Michael Irvin used to lash out but he was passionate about his team and a guy who could walk the talk. I don't recall anybody in Dallas getting onto him for his passion. So your theory doesn't hold water.

What I say may anger some, ooh well. What part of the blame must #omo, I mean Romo shoulder for throwing to a tight end who is blanketed and not even looking in the direction of open receivers? Someone needed to tell him to get a grip.( No pun intended either.) It's obvious that the coach is just not capable of doing it. Every one wants to put the onus on T.O., when the fact of the matter is this city is antsy about black men in high profile situations lashing out. If it had been a white guy that did what he did, he'd just be venting. Why is that? Sometimes, even if you're ostracized, traded or whatever, you leave with your dignity intact. Godspeed T.O and much success! Keep being brave and never play the coward! We've got your back.....
